Sales Manager East Europe Road Safety

Purpose

Within IDEMIA, the Public Security Business Unit, is currently looking for a Sales Account Manager Eastern Europe, to deploy the Road Safety sales strategy. It will mainly cover opportunities in Poland, Bulgaria, Romania, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan.

 

Expanding cities and rising individual mobility have greatly affected traffic conditions. Maintaining security on roads is a top priority and a financial challenge for governments. According to the World Health Organization, traffic accidents cost nearly 3% of GDP and by 2030, road-related accidents are forecasted to be the 5th leading cause of death. IDEMIA provides sophisticated traffic law enforcement systems that prevent reckless driving and significantly reduce road accidents. We have the latest technologies needed for advanced behavior monitoring.

 

 

Key Missions

 

As part of our Europe Road and Safety Business Line Sales Team, you will:

  • Develop, propose, and implement the sales strategy throughout the region, taking into account the specificities of each market (pricing policy, products)
  • Define distribution methods by market.
  • Identify growth opportunities and prospect new markets.
  • Participate in responding to tenders, mainly public and governmental.
  • Seek and engage with local partners (distributors, resellers, etc.).
  • Monitor and animate the existing distribution network.
  • Contribute to the product strategy by market by conveying field needs.
  • Ensure competitive intelligence.
  • Maintain strong relationships with influencers and clients.
  • Regularly participate in events to promote our products.
  • Provide activity reporting to the Sales Management.
  • Collaborate with pre-sales, product, marketing, communication, and support functions (legal, etc.) located at headquarters.

 

 

To succeed in this position, you will need the following skills and experience:

  • At least 7years of experience, including sales experience in the Public Safety sector, preferably Road Safety in relation to Government authorities.
  • Business or Engineering degree
  • Proficient in English and Russian; French is a plus.
