As a senior DevOps Engineer, you will bridge the gap between software development and IT operations, ensuring efficient, reliable, and secure software delivery.
Key Missions
- Customer and Project Understanding: Analyze and interpret customer requirements and project key performance indicators (KPIs) to align technical solutions with business objectives.
- Infrastructure and Automation Management: Deploy, configure, and maintain development, testing, and automation tools to streamline workflows and enhance efficiency.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with internal teams, stakeholders, and customers to ensure smooth integration and implementation of DevOps processes.
- Code Quality and Reviews: Participate in code reviews, ensuring best practices and high-quality standards are maintained.
- Issue Resolution: Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues to ensure system reliability and performance.
- Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Continuously track and measure software delivery processes, customer experience, and KPIs to optimize operations.
- Automation Advocacy: Promote and implement automation wherever possible to improve efficiency and reduce manual interventions.
- Incident and Problem Management: Manage incidents effectively, conduct root cause analysis, and implement long-term solutions to prevent recurrence
Profile & Other Information
Desired skills:
- Linux Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of Linux-based infrastructures and system administration.
- Networking Expertise: Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
- Scripting Skills: Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and Bash for automation and system management.
- Cloud & Infrastructure Management: Hands-on experience configuring and managing AWS services using Terraform, including EKS, RDS, Elasticache, Opensearch, and VPCs.
- Troubleshooting & Problem-Solving: Ability to diagnose and resolve system issues effectively and efficiently.
- Technical Toolset Knowledge: Familiarity with various DevOps tools, open-source technologies, and cloud platforms.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Strong commitment to the "Everything as Code" approach, ensuring automation and reproducibility.
- Continuous Learning: Passion for staying up to date with the latest technologies and continuously improving processes.
- Communication Skills: Good command of English, both written and spoken, for effective collaboration in an international environment.
