Team Leader for Observability Team

Purpose

The Observability Team is a customer-oriented team which is responsible for technical assistance, maintenance and implementation of system components deployed by IDEMIA. They troubleshoot issues, provide technical assistance to customers, and contribute to the improvement of applications' performance and reliability. There will be a great opportunity to improve your observability skills. The team works in shifts to provide 24/7/365 support.

Key Missions

As our new Observability Team Leader, you will:

  • Solves and documents Level 1 and sometimes Level 2 IT needs of users and productive operations associated with a ticket 
  • Manages communication with internal and external customer from the point of raising request to the resolution in partnership with other departments 
  • Support external stakeholders and ensure the results are in compliance with the company quality standards  
  • Manages complex and major issues and tasks 
  • Proposes and implements improvement ideas 
  • Leads a small IT Team and ensures that processes are properly followed by the Team 


To succeed in this position, you will need the following:

  • English – fluent level is a must have, 
  • Polish – preferably, 
  • Spanish – additional bonus 
  • Proven experience in leading and managing teams, preferably in the IT or technology sector, 
  • Experience in performance evaluation, coaching team members, 
  • Understanding of code life cycle, IT environment will be an advantage, 
  • Good organizational and time management skills, ability to work in environment with rapidly changing priorities, 
  • Experience in working with external clients, managing expectations and relationship, 
  • Ability to use Jira. 


This role is fully on site in our Łódź’s office, ul. Jaracza 62/64, in typical business hours, but what is important to mention, the team works in 12 hours shifts, also during night and weekends. The team is new in Poland, so Team Leader has a possibility to create the team from scratch. But, what is important here, with a support from experienced teams from different countries, as we already have teams which provides the same services in other locations.
