Purpose
This role is responsible for implementing and maintaining systems (software and hardware computing infrastructure) supporting IDEMIA's processes and operations.
Process and solutions related to Tools must meet the different needs of IDEMIA. Business applications, infrastructure & networking have to be managed in order to ensure the good working of IDEMIA activities.
Tools Expert will join the Tools Teams for a group of different solutions that are addressing a scope of multiple worldwide Business Units.
(S)he will be involved in cross-functional interactions with other IDEMIA global teams accordingly.

Key Missions
Key Missions:
- Assist support staff as/when required in order to meet deadlines and IDEMIA Infrastructure support priorities
- Implement efficient workflow and automation (scripting)
- Configure and maintain platforms
- Participate in the governance of application and infrastructure design, implementation, customization & support
- Manage new technology integrations into Atlassian systems (Cloud, SaaS Solutions)
- Provide input as required on product and system specific functionality, configuration and usage for training and documentation purposes
- Share skills and experience with other groups within the organization, with the aim of establishing consistency and improving quality within the company
- Recommend the establishment of modification of current policies and standards where applicable in order to improve the quality of the tools

Profile & Other Information
Technical knowledge
Must haves:
- Good knowledge of tools technologies like (JFROG Artifactory, Centreon, Jira)
- Comfortable with scripting or programming languages (Groovy scripting, Java, Python, SQL, bash)
- Comfortable with Nginx, HA PROXY
- Good knowledge on infrastructure protocols to gather event data

- SMTP
- LDAP/AD
- IMAP/POP3
- Cloud & DevOps (Azure, AWS, Kubernetes / Docker, Puppet)
- Good basis in ITIL foundational concepts (Incident Management, Change Management)
- Good understanding of network and system settings

- Atlassian Tools suite (Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence)
Preferred:
- University degree in the field of computer science, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role
Interpersonal skills:
- The Expert must be curious, autonomous and highly motivated by new information technologies, as the tasks require performing in-depth technical tests with problem and root cause analysis
- Self-motivated and ability to work independently or with diverse groups around the world
- Other language is a plus (Polish, French)
- Strong analytical skills

- Ability to work and interact effectively in a team environment
