iOS Team Leader

Purpose
We are looking for an experienced iOS Team Leader with a strong technical background in iOS SDK development who will join and manage one of our teams in Payments Services domain. The team works on SDKs for iOS to manage cards on mobile phones.
They work in many streams, which create a challenging environment to manage communication flow and align with tasks. The team consists of 9 people, experienced in both programming and this product. We are looking for you to contribute with your technical expertise, help the team to organize their work, and be one of the key contacts for customers discussions.
Key Missions
Your mission:
- Make sure the team’s daily work aligns with the company’s overall goals and strategy., within multiple project streams at the same time.
- Support and guide your team through technical coaching and mentoring, helping them grow professionally.
- Work closely with other teams and business leaders to plan development that balances technical needs with customer and market expectations.
- Drive improvements in how the team works and help shape best practices.
- Take ownership of major issues, acting as the go-to person when problems need quick resolution.
- Oversee the team’s deliveries, timelines and budget to ensure everything stays on track.
- Keep your team motivated and engaged, while also supporting their career development.
- Represent the team in meetings with stakeholders and contribute to important decisions.
Profile & Other Information
To succeed on this position you should have:
- Fluent Polish and English language - to manage local team and contact with clients;
- Technical background (with previous experience in developing iOS SDKs) - understanding architecture, SDK modules to freely discuss about application testing and delivery process with both development team and clients;
- Data driven - use metrics to work on quality and delivery improvements, helping us to build world class engineering organization, focused on details pf delivered work;
- Team management experience - managing team size changes, onboarding of new team members, manage the communication between different work streams inside the team, ability to inspire Technical Teams;
- Experience in ensuring customer delivery timelines across multiple project streams;
- Experience with security certification processes is preferable;
- Ability to find yourself well in international environment, working with various cultures specifics.
The role is in hybrid model of working with occasionally work from the office in Łódź. We propose cooperation based on employment agreement.
