Purpose
Key Missions
- Evaluate biometric data quality and analyzes corresponding quality issues.
- Train the biometric solution.
- Conduct performance and accuracy experiments.
- Compute performance and accuracy numbers.
- Provide recommendation on optimum configuration of the solution.
- Configure biometric algorithms.
- Support program manager to reach proper product/project definition/requirements/solution design
- Define/translate requirements into design documentation with the product development team
- Support in technical expertise within the project to solve issues, improve on the biometric implementation
- Analyzes corresponding biometric quality issues
- Supporting project management

Experience & background
- Over 5 Years plus experience in similar role
Technical skills
- Should have over 5 years of experience in software project/product integration and at least 4 years’ experience in biometric software projects.
- Should have worked as Lead Biometric Specialist for at least 4 years for a biometric software projects of gallery size of 1 million of unique records.
- Should have knowledge of application level biometric integration
- Should have knowledge biometric algorithms, biometric devices and identity management systems.
- Should have over 2 years of experience in conducting performance and accuracy experiments for biometric solutions.
- Software development knowledge : Java, J2EE, JBOSS, C++
- IT Infrastructure : OS (Windows, Linux, Unix), virtual environments (VMware,…), network, High Availability,
- Cloud Infrastructure (AWS, Azure), Docker, Kubernetes
- IT Security (PKI, certificate, firewall, …)
- Standards : ISO 27001, eIDAS, ICAO
- Biometric algorithms, Biometric devices
- Software Lifecycle
- Market, Business & Product Knowledge

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Used to working in international teams (fluent English, intercultural skills).
