Collaborative program manager

Purpose
We are looking for a security research professional to join our international team and contribute to high-impact European and German projects in a collaborative and innovative environment.
Key Missions
- Acquisition of projects in the field of security research funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) or the European Commission (Horizon Europe, Cluster 3 – Civil Security for Society)
- Active advancement and independent supervision of ongoing security research projects, including technical leadership of IDEMIA’s contributions and mentoring of junior engineers/researchers
- Close collaboration with scientific and technical partners, especially end users, in ongoing projects and funding applications, as well as participation in or moderation of project meetings
- Presentation of project results (internally, within the project consortium, or externally at conferences and other events), as well as administrative support of ongoing research projects
- Collaboration with a team of French colleagues also working on research projects
Profile & Other Information
- A completed university degree in a relevant field such as engineering, computer science, physics, or a related technical discipline
- Several years of professional experience in a comparable role, with proven success in acquiring and leading interdisciplinary research projects
- Leadership skills and the ability to coordinate complex (inter)national teams
- Knowledge in the fields of biometrics or image/video processing is desirable
- Flexibility and willingness to travel within Europe for project-related activities
- Strong communication skills in both German and English, written and spoken
