This role is responsible for managing PMO tasks and projects within the IPS IT departement so that they are delivered in line with the scope, schedule and cost.

Key Missions

  • Assists IT Project Managers in following up the projects of the department
  • Manage or contribute to:  
    • the definition of the deliverables
    • the definition of detailed work plans, schedules
    • the definition of project estimates
    • the definition of communication plans
    • the definition of resource plans
    • the definition of status reports and their regular delivery
    • the risk analysis 
    • the monitoring of the progress against project milestones and budgets
  • Ensures the deliverables are within the right quality standards, security standard and cost
  • Manages changes that may impact the scope, the schedule and the cost of the project
  • Manages stakeholders expectations and communicates accordingly and timely
  • Manages the integration of vendor tasks and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables
  • Communicates about the projects to stakeholders
  • May leads and coordinates the project team, and may provides technical guidance
  • Works under the supervision of a more experienced IT Project Manager
  • Ensure projects' schedules are correctly defined and updated under EPM / MS project or any other project management tool
  • Ensure projects' backlogs are correctly defined and updated under Jira
  • Control EPM Timesheets 
  • Contribute to generation and control department KPIs about OPEX, CAPEX, IHP actuals

Profile & Other Information

Within the team you will:

  • Manage / contribute to management of IT projects
  • Continuously contribute to improve project management process 
  • Operates the different project management / tracking tools ( EPM, MS Project, MS Excel, PMO tool, ...)
  • Support internal users about their EPM, projects assigments
  • Contribute to KPI and project dasboard 

You will collaborate in an international environment with:

  • project teams and technical governance teams
  • Other IT teams (infrastructure, security, networks) in central or local sites
  • External suppliers 

Hard skills you should have:

  • Project management skills
  • MS project knowledge
  • Excel knowledge
  • Jira knowledge (for backlog management)

Soft skills you should have:

  • Problem solver attitude (ability to drill down to find root causes)
  • Reactivity/accountability
  • Good communication skills

Some nice to have skills:

  • DevOps practices
  • Agile management
  • Power BI knowledge
  • IT tools & services knowledge
