Key Missions

This role is responsible for implementing and maintaining systems (software and hardware computing infrastructure) supporting IDEMIA's processes and operations.

 

  • Installs, configures and tests systems, software and hardware in alignment with IDEMIAs security standards
  • Manages and monitors existing infrastructure systems in IDEMIA to ensure service continuity and structure integrity
  • Provides installation, configuration and maintenance documentations when required
  • Assists IDEMIAs teams and customer to fix technical issues and risks, in line with service-level agreements
  • Automates routine tasks using scripting to address systems software configuration and enhancement
  • Resolves tickets, Manages trouble shooting and escalate to the right team
  • Installs and configure systems and Software according to design
  • implements systems and Software in autonomy as per corporate standards and procedures -
  • Monitors all existing infrastructure systems
  • Works under supervision

Profile & Other Information

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
  • 3–5 years of experience in Linux system administration in enterprise or cloud environments
  • Proficiency in Bash and Python scripting for automation and operational tasks
  • Experience with Terraform and Packer for infrastructure provisioning and configuration
  • Hands-on experience with Saltstack or Ansible in automated deployment pipelines
  • Working knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and hybrid cloud architectures is a plus
  • Familiarity with container technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes is a plus)
  • Experience troubleshooting distributed systems and performance bottlenecks
  • Comfortable working with version control systems such as Git
  • Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a globally distributed team
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Willingness to work flexible hours or travel when reasonably required.
