Production Team Leader

Purpose

This role oversees and organizes all production operations activities across production area.

Key Missions

• Coordinating the work of the assigned production team, motivating team members, ensuring the productivity of the team
• Participating in the process of information flow in the company, providing team members with important and up-to-date information about their work
• Cross-teams cooperation (IT, Security, Account Managers, Local Technical Support)
• Flexible and capable to integrate partners requests into the production process
• Planning both in the case of routine activities and in the case of special needs of the company while maintaining the highest quality of the product
• Monitoring production flows with the use of available indicators, thus ensuring the achievement of specific goals
• Maintaining and increasing productivity, initiating and implementing improvements in consultation with the management and employees of other areas
• Ensuring Lean Manufacturing practices are applied into the production flow
• Ensuring the safety and efficiency of all employees assigned to the coordinated production area
• Assigning objectives, monitor and evaluate the performance of the team
• Ensuring the safety of devices in the assigned production area
• Enforcing compliance with all company procedures
• Ensuring effective communication between the Management and Employees
• Employee training
• Maintaining a clean and safe workplace, in accordance with the 5S protocol adopted by the Company
• Hands-on approach: performing, if needed, some of the duties assigned to Production Operators
• Report and implement ideas about possible savings in operating costs
• Performing other tasks ordered by superiors or resulting from the existing situations
• Maintain a good atmosphere at work and good relations with colleagues.
