Security Operations Assurance Analyst

Purpose

The Security Operations Process & Assurance Analyst supports the quality, effectiveness, compliance and continuous improvement of physical security operations within the GSOC.

The role combines physical security operations, process analysis, quality assurance, data analysis and governance to ensure that GSOC activities are delivered consistently, efficiently and in accordance with defined security standards and procedures

Key Missions

Physical Security Operations & Assurance

• Monitor the quality and effectiveness of GSOC physical security operations.
• Conduct periodic quality checks and testing of security monitoring, incident handling, escalation and response processes.
• Review adherence to physical security procedures, SOPs and operational standards.
• Identify operational gaps, recurring issues and control weaknesses, and track corrective actions.
• Support continuous improvement of GSOC operations and physical security service delivery.

Process & Continuous Improvement

• Analyze and map existing physical security and GSOC processes.
• Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, risks and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop and optimize processes, workflows and SOPs.
• Recommend standardization, automation and technology improvements.
• Support implementation of new processes and operational changes.

Data, Reporting & Governance

• Collect, validate and analyze GSOC and physical security operational data.
• Develop and monitor KPIs and quality indicators.
• Prepare monthly and ad-hoc operational reports for security management.
• Maintain accurate process documentation and operational standards.
• Support compliance with security policies, procedures and applicable regulations.

Technology & Stakeholder Management

• Support the effective use and testing of physical security technologies, including CCTV, access control, intrusion detection and alarm monitoring systems.
• Work with GSOC, Security, IT and other stakeholders to resolve operational issues and implement improvements.
• Provide guidance and support to operational teams when processes or standards change.

Profile & Other Information

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in security management, IT, Business, Operations or a related field.
• Experience in physical security, GSOC operations, quality assurance, process analysis, operations or business analysis.
• Experience with process mapping, reporting and continuous improvement.
• Experience with testing or quality control is an advantage.

Technical Skills

• Understanding of physical security and GSOC operations.
• Familiarity with CCTV, access control, alarm monitoring and security applications.
• Strong analytical, process mapping and data reporting skills.
• Knowledge of SOPs, operational governance and compliance.
• Familiarity with ITIL practices is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

Languages
