Purpose

This role centrally governs the creation and the maintenance of Master Data in the main ERP systems in line with standards and internal customers' requirements.

Key Missions

  • Administers, maintains and develops the master data within a variety of business application systems to ensure information held is accurate and up to date
  • Provides advice and supports the creation and the modification of the following Master Data: Finance, Projects, Customers, Materials, Employees and Supplier
  • Ensures all SLA (service level agreements) are fully met regarding creation and modification
  • Maintains and develops master data process documentation, ensuring they are up to date and relevant
  • Maintains, reviews and monitors systems to ensure data accuracy and quality
  • Conducts testing and system validation to troubleshoot issues related to master data management and system
  • Supports project team(s) in data migration activities
  • Identifies and implements process improvements in relation to master data processes

 

 

Tasks and responsibilities:

For Master Data Officer:

  • Performs simple tasks as modification and creation requests within one system/one area
  • Communicates with internal and external stakeholders to gather data and information on requests, works with the supervision of a more experienced Master Data Officer

For Senior level Master Data Officer:

  • Performs complex tasks as modification and creation requests in full autonomy within multiple systems/areas
  • Communicates internal and external stakeholders to provides expertises
  • Participates to audit
  • Is the single point of contact in case of escalation topics on issues regarding current projects / processes
  • Manages backlogs
  • Trains less experienced Master Data Officers

Expected technical competencies:
•    Experience with different ERP systems
•    Master Data experience
•    Strong knowledge of Excel and MS applications
•    Data migration experience is nice to have
•    Experience with IT Service Management tools
•    B2 English both oral and written is a must
