Key Missions

Position Overview

As a Procurement Business Partner and Travel Manager, you will be responsible for managing procurement activities for various categories and coordinating business travel for the company. You will play a key role in aligning procurement activities with the company's strategic objectives, developing innovative procurement strategies, and managing supplier relationships. Additionally, you will ensure traveler satisfaction and optimize travel management processes.



Responsibilities:


Strategic Understanding and Strategy Development:

  • Ensure a comprehensive understanding of the company’s strategy, objectives, and needs.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to align procurement activities with business objectives.
  • Develop or support category strategies aimed at enhancing innovation and quality, reducing costs, and improving service to internal stakeholders.


Supplier Selection and Management:

  • Source suppliers and collaborate with internal customers on supplier selection.
  • Conduct in-depth analyses to advise on the make/buy strategy.
  • Maintain deep and continuous relationships with suppliers to ensure smooth contract implementation, identify further business opportunities, and anticipate risks.


Negotiations, Innovation, and Contract Implementation:

  • Challenge needs, conduct RFIs/RFQs, and negotiate cost-effective agreements with suppliers to achieve budget goals and provide a competitive advantage for IDEMIA.
  • Contribute to Design To Cost activities and cooperate with R&D to realize supplier-enabled innovation.
  • Ensure effective contract implementation and act as the main escalation point for suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Manage escalations, drive, or support continuous improvement in supplier performance.


Reporting and KPIs:

  • Deliver proper reports on KPIs to business stakeholders and the procurement management team.
  • Report KPIs and savings accurately.


Business Partnership Activities:

  • Independently conduct most procurement business partner activities for small, simple, or non-strategic categories or projects.
  • Support procurement business partner activities for large, complex, or strategic categories or projects under the guidance of a senior team member.
  • Effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders.


Travel Management:

  • Communicate travel processes and procedures.
  • Ensure traveler satisfaction and collect feedback.
  • Lead the network of travel managers in local entities.
  • Contribute and coordinate annually with regions for the negotiations and implementation of the hotel/air program.
  • Identify best practices and ideas for cost reduction.
  • Issue and analyze travel KPIs.
  • Contribute to the implementation of the travel tool in coordination with the agency and group stakeholders (security, HR, compliance, finance, IT, regional procurement), particularly on rules, configuration, and processes.
  • Validate non-compliant trips (level 2).

Profile & Other Information

Qualifications and Skills:

  • 3 years’ experience. Experience as travel manager is a plus.
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience managing supplier relationships.
  • Analytical skills for conducting in-depth analyses and KPI reporting.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong results-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
