IT Project Manager

Purpose

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Manager to oversee an ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) migration to a defined Core model. The ideal candidate will manage the end-to-end migration process, ensure the alignment of local processes with the Core model, and lead change management initiatives to facilitate successful adoption across the organization.

Key Missions

ERP Migration Management:
•    Plan, execute, and finalize the ERP migration to the Core model within scope, budget, and timeline.
•    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, objectives, and success criteria.
•    Develop detailed project plans, including resource allocation, timelines, and risk management strategies.
•    Coordinate with ERP vendors and technical teams to ensure successful data migration and system integration with the Core model.
Core Model Implementation:
•    Ensure the new ERP system aligns with the predefined Core model, meeting global standards and local business requirements.
•    Customize and configure the ERP system to integrate local processes into the Core model.
•    Work closely with global and local teams to ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory standards.
Change Management:
•    Develop and implement change management strategies to facilitate smooth transition to the new ERP system.
•    Conduct stakeholder analysis to identify and engage key stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
•    Provide training and support to end-users to ensure they are proficient with the new system.
•    Monitor and address resistance to change, ensuring a positive adoption experience.
Stakeholder Communication:
•    Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, including senior management, IT teams, and business units.
•    Prepare and deliver regular project updates, status reports, and presentations to stakeholders.
•    Facilitate communication between internal teams and external vendors to resolve issues and ensure project success.
Quality Assurance and Risk Management:
•    Implement quality assurance processes to ensure the new ERP system meets business requirements and performance standards.
•    Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks to minimize impact on project delivery.
•    Conduct post-implementation reviews to evaluate project success and identify areas for improvement.

Profile & Other Information

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field. A master’s degree or PMP certification is a plus.
  • Proven experience in managing ERP migration projects, especially to a Core model, preferably within a multinational environment.
  • Strong understanding of local business processes and regulatory requirements in Colombia.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics would be a plus).
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English is mandatory.
