Purpose
Key Missions
- Analyze and review the requirements from the system specification document.
- Participate in the definition and evolution of the system integration and testing strategy.
- Ensure the writing of the system test plan (manual & automated test cases, test procedures, test campaigns, etc.).
- Ensure traceability and coverage of specification requirements (system maturity).
- Prepare and develop automated tests using Gherkin, Cucumber, and Selenium.
- Set up the automated testing pipeline if necessary to ensure non-regression.
- Prepare/receive delivery packages and ensure configuration management.
- Install and maintain the operational system integration platform.
- Integrate and test software components developed internally or externally (COTS or hardware).
- Execute functional and non-functional integration tests on the system.
- Execute system qualification test campaigns.
- Provide support to development teams for the isolation of residual issues.
- Commit to costs and deadlines, and provide reporting to the PO/PM.
- Support customer teams during production deployment (Go-Live).
- Ensure the proper transition of the project into maintenance mode (BUILD to RUN).
Profile & Other Information
- Strong hands-on experience in software testing activities: writing and executing tests, software maturity tracking and management, KPI preparation, and test reporting (ISTQB certification is a plus).
- Knowledge of test automation using Selenium and Gherkin/Cucumber.
- Strong hands-on experience with system integration approaches.
- Knowledge of Web Services (SOAP, REST) and protocols/interfaces (HTTP(S), TCP, SMTP/POP3, WebSockets, LDAP), as well as testing tools, mock webservice creation, and log analysis.
- Scripting skills (Shell, PowerShell) or programming background (Java, SQL, XML).
