QA Lead

Purpose

Contract type: Full-time
Work arrangement: After an 8-week onboarding period, you will be eligible to work remotely 2 to 3 days per week.

Job Purpose
As a QA Lead, you will join an agile team of around twenty professionals, including developers, testers, and Tech Leads. You will play a key role in defining the testing strategy, mentoring and upskilling the team, and ensuring the quality of software deliveries. You will also contribute to strategic projects, particularly the development and continuous evolution of the MBIS application.
Key Missions
- Define the testing strategy and ensure comprehensive functional test coverage based on user stories and their acceptance criteria
- Write, review, and validate test plans, test scenarios (BDD/Gherkin), and test campaigns
- Develop, execute, and maintain automated tests, while performing manual testing when required
- Oversee the execution of test campaigns, track defects, and ensure their resolution through to closure
- Mentor, train, and upskill QA engineers on testing tools, automation frameworks, and test automation best practices
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the test automation framework, quality assurance processes, and overall testing strategy
- Lead the QA team's activities, coordinate technical priorities, and ensure the quality of project deliverables
Profile & Other Information
- Technical Skills:
- Master's degree (Master's / Engineering degree) in Computer Science or an equivalent field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in software test automation, including experience as a QA Lead
- Strong expertise in designing, writing, reviewing, and executing automated test plans
- Experience leading, mentoring, and developing a QA team in test automation practices
- Proficiency in Java, Cucumber, Selenium or Playwright, as well as Git
- Hands-on experience with Jira, Xray, and Confluence
- Good knowledge of SQL and Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Languages:
- French: Fluent
