Purpose

This role manages testing activities of products or solutions to ensure that the quality is compliant with standards and to meet customer requirements.

Key Missions

Specialized in both manual and automation testing and play a critical role in the software testing and quality assurance process. Their purpose is to ensure the quality, reliability, and functionality of software products by designing, executing, and maintaining test cases and procedures, Contribute to delivering high-quality software that meets user expectations and performs reliably across various scenarios. 
Through manual testing, they manually validate software features, identifying defects and ensuring the software meets specified requirements. With automation testing, they create scripts and use testing frameworks to automate repetitive and complex test scenarios, enhancing testing efficiency and coverage.
 

Technical Skills

• Good working knowledge of engineering and testing procedures;
• Conducting quality assurance and designing performance tests using the new testing procedures;
• Ensuring all tests and procedures meet company and industry standards;
• Writing test plans and creating test cases for the product;
• Monitor past implementations and see problems long before our customers do on basis of findings in later implementations and signal this to the team;
• Proficiency in testing Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) - HTTP methods, request/response formats (JSON, XML), and tools like Postman or REST-assured.
• Familiarity with automation testing tools and frameworks for creating automated test scripts to validate software functionality efficiently.
• Be a part of an ongoing effort to bring new testing knowledge into the team.
