Purpose

This role is responsible for the project to be developed and delivered in line with customer requirements, schedule and costs.

Key Missions

As a Technical team lead, you will act as PO / and Scrum Master.
You will work on the implementation of MBIS Programs(a biometric identification system that leverage technology to automate the processing of arrest
and applicant fingerprint submissions). Over the years, MBIS has become a vital system for law enforcement agencies worldwide and authorized non-criminal justice agencies.
You will lead a technical team of 6+ Developers and QA engineers in order to deliver in agile mode MBIS releases meeting agreed deadlines, budgetary and quality requirement. 
You will demonstrate and role model the skills and behaviors to support the performance of the team.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as PO and Scrum master of the Team
  • Implement different custo programs of MBIS product 
  • Meet the delivery deadlines with the quality required within planned costs 
  • Manage the team in delivering the project and provide technical and functionnal guidance
  • Motivate and mentor team members
  • Ensure the follow-up and support the team during the sprint 
  • Collaborate and develop a web application strategy that encompasses the goals of the client.
  • Monitor project baseline to ensure activities  progressing as planned
  • Animate Agile ceremonies like - Sprint Planning, Sprint Demo, Sprint Retrospectives etc
     

Required Technical Skills:

  • Good knowledge in Java, linux, oracle database
  • Experrience in Agile/Scrum methods
  • Good knowledge in using version control tools like SVN.
  • Good knowledge in Project Management
