Purpose
This role provides total security control on cryptographic keys in line with the various security requirements that the business must adhere to.
Key Missions
Applies and controls the key management process in accordance with the security policy and agreements or as governed by the standards to manage cryptographic keys
Ensures that all key management procedures and policies are respected while working with keys
Manages all symmetric keys, asymmetric keys and certificates incl. PGP, S-MIME, sshkeys, TLS-keys etc
Ensures the key generation, exchange, import or export of ciphered keys, backup, restore, delete, replacement etc. as per the management procedures and policies
Manages keys inventory and traceability according to business requirements and standards
Leads the key management organization (Key administrator and key custodian)
Controls of role holder selection, training and approval including coaching key deputies and key custodians on key management procedures and management of all user roles profiles and pass-phrases
Ensures that only authorized people can have access to keys and key components
Organizes and drives the scheduling and organization of the Key Ceremonies with all stakeholders including external customers
Protects key materials as per the policies, processes and applicable standards in compliance with schemes
Organizes with business required key renewals
Installs HSM hardware and related software and firmware incl. related updates and patches
Ensures life cycle of keys and key supporting material
Ensures Hardware, Firmware and Software are up-to-date as per the schemes requirements
Installs HSM related services on the target server, e.g. DP Server
Taking active part in troubleshooting the HSM issues, testing, validation, disposal and updates in accordance with IT maintenance scheduling
Setting up the crypto card security features
Leads, organizes and contributes to the success of security or compliance audits related to key management
Maintains the HSM inventory
Represents key management team during physical and logical security audits (PCI,GSMA,ISOTS)
Manages audits
Covers key admin and custodian safes
Logs all administrative operations and controls of all key expiry dates
Performs internal audit reports to be shared with the central team on a monthly basis (KPI)Conducts regular key ceremonies (key generation, export, import) with respect to security policiesProfile & Other Information
