Sr. Maintenance Machine & Facilities Manager

Purpose

This role leads the planning, design, and execution of maintenance and facilities programs to ensure optimal reliability, safety, and performance of site infrastructure and equipment, while delivering a best-in-class employee experience aligned with business and security needs. 

Key Missions

• Plans and coordinates maintenance engineering work including review of mechanical and electrical engineering specifications on equipment, plan preventive or predictive maintenance.
• Performs engineering review of proposed new equipment designs to assess reliability, ease of maintenance, and availability of replacement parts.  
• Supervises the site's Machine Maintenance Function and manages contracts with suppliers.  
• Supports installation, commissioning, and qualification of new equipment while leading or supporting facility and equipment upgrade projects and collaborating with Engineering on layout and process improvements and following the local safety guidelines. 
• Oversee maintenance of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and utilities. 
• Ensures compliance with regulatory and safety standards (OSHA, NFPA, local codes, etc.). 
• Coordinates inspections, certifications, and vendor services. 
• Manages the contract with the machine suppliers.   
• Defines objectives and contribute to budget definition.  
• Drives initiatives to improve OEE, MTBF, MTTR, and overall equipment reliability by partnering with Operations, Quality, and Engineering to implement process improvements and identify cost reduction and efficiency opportunities. 
• Monitors the achievements.  
• Manages the team and the external resources and ensures the maintenance staff are trained with the right skills.  
• Tracks budget and expenses for new machines and spare parts.  
• Implements best practice using 5S for continuous improvements. 

Profile & Other Information

• Managerial responsibilities: Direct line management of ≥ 3  
• Education or equivalent work experience: Professional education in Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or related field preferred, equivalent technical experience considered 
• Minimum necessary experience: 5 to 10 years of relevant experience within facility systems and production equipment.
