Purpose

As a NORAM Junior FP&A and SC Controller you will play a key role to ensure financial data integrity as well as analyzing financial information that allows sound business and strategic decision-making. You will support leaders in making the best decisions that develop the activity while preserving risk.

            Working hand-in-hand with the Head of NORAM controlling, you will be focusing on two major areas: business controlling (sales, standard gross margin, OPEX etc) and operations controlling of one of IDEMIA’s largest personalization site. From participating to the monthly closing, reporting and analyses to preparing the monthly forecasting and yearly budget process for the region and the site of Chantilly, you will have a 360-degree overview of the financial aspects from both a statutory and an analytical point of view.

You will collaborate with a regional team based in Chantilly, Exton and Los Angeles as well as our global teams around the world and especially in the Headquarter of the group in France.

Key Missions

  • Ensures data quality in the financial systems
  • Collects information from internal stakeholders and ensures data is complete, accurate, and with correct analytical allocation such as project/department/product/ BU (…)
  • Analyzes trends across key P&L and Balance sheet indicators (revenue, OPEX, COGS, DSO, Inventory, CAPEX…)
  • Challenges and partner with Business and Operations leaders to define and implement action plans that will improve financial performance (profitability and cash)
  • Provides variance analysis and comments (versus Budget, versus Last Year) to relevant stakeholders, both Finance and/or Business teams
  • Together with business leaders, prepares financial performance reviews (monthly, forecast, budget, VCP, investments) and presents them to the Management team
  • Collects, consolidates, and loads data to prepare for Budget and Forecast for their scope, based on assumptions given by Business and/or Controllers
  • Collects relevant data from operations or product lines and prepares the business cases for investment committees related to CAPEX and/or R&D
  • Provides expertise and advice, coaches business leaders to help them understand financial performance

Profile & Other Information

  • University degree in Finance, Controlling or related field.
  • 2+ years of professional-level employment in controlling, financial reporting & analysis, or a closely related professional-level financial role.
  • Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced work environment, ensuring quality and on-time delivery, organizational skills
  • Ability to cope with pressure and be reliable, pro-active and reactive
  • Solid communication skills in a multi-cultural environment
  • Critical thinking
  • Microsoft Office, excellent Excel skills, experience with TM1 is a plus.
