General Supply Chain Operations and Planning 1

Purpose

This role oversees tasks that are related to production planning, inventory control, supply management and procurement and ensures program competitiveness and performance from the front end of the business through shipping materials to end locations.

Key Missions

  • Manages the finances (budget, targets, working capital, materials forecast)
  • Ensures production and non-production materials are received at the right time and in the right amount
  • Identifies and secures supply chain resources to support the product launch and manages the supply chain content for the proposal pipeline
  • Forecats and plans of materials to support business
  • Performs analytics and maintains inventory accuracy
  • Publishes and updates daily critical or shortage report
  • Manages basic order entry (schedule and release orders based on customer’s demand or need)
  • Possesses strong oral and written communication skills
  • Works both independently and in team environment
  • Supports optimizing inventory at warehouses
  • Supports material availability, inventory and back orders
