Purpose of the job 

  • Part of a team of IT Security experts named “IT Security Operations Officers” Mexico
  • Provides global IT security support to all global Idemia sites

 

Main responsibilities             

  • Treat security incidents.
  • Perform IT security requests.
  • Perform change requests.
  • Configure security equipment.
  • Set up security environments remotely.
  • Escalate IT security issues to other team members and track down issues.
  • Supports day-to-day administration of various firewalls, IDS, security devices and tools.
  • Installs, configures, troubleshoots, and monitors security systems,
  • Work during shift and/or be on call during extended hours.
  • Troubleshoot interconnection links with customers, partners and internal clients.
  • Updates security devices and tools, like virus protection systems, and others mentioned above list.
  • Automate like writes scripts to ensure IT security, modifies computer security files to incorporate new software, correct errors etc.
  • Perform global regular tasks related to IT security.
  • DELIVERABLES: audit and risks assessments reports, scripts, etc
  • Stays current with new IT securities threats and IT technology

 

REQUIREMENTS      

Open to work hybrid model (site/HO)

English advanced mandatory  

  • At least 2 years’ experience with a strong understanding of implementing Network infrastructure and Windows, Unix/Linux architecture.
  • Knowledge and experience with CISCO configuration, routing, switching, firewall and creation of VPN links, monitoring, administration, management and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge and experience with different network vendor brands like Netasq, Fortinet, Juniper, Checkpoint, Stonesoft, Forcepoint, Palo Alto, Sonicwall, Zyxel, etc. are highly advantageous.
  • Experience in Unix/Linux and database is an advantage.
  • Experience in administration and management is a good plus.
  • Graduate of computer science, Information systems, and/or engineering course.
  • Knowledge in Security devices and tools like IDS, Anti-spam, Application firewalls, virtual firewalls, Proxy, Anti-virus, Vulnerability scanners, Penetration Tests, Servers, AD, Radius, Syslog, VMs, Back-up etc.
  • Thorough understanding of TCP/IP and related NETWORK protocols, VPN, TLS, SSL, DNS, SMTP, HTTP, DHCP, FTP, etc.
  • Proven ability to research tough problems, track down and resolve network and other issues.
  • Understanding of Ethernet networks and future high speed technologies.
