Purpose

Join IDEMIA’s Central Finance team during a pivotal time of global transformation. As a Finance & Management Control Trainee, you’ll support key finance activities and gain hands-on experience in financial management, reporting, and business analysis within an international tech-driven environment. This opportunity is ideal for a student preparing for a Master’s degree in Finance or Business and looking to build foundational experience in management control.

Key Missions

Under the guidance of experienced financial controllers, your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in the collection and validation of financial data from various departments
  • Supporting the analysis of key financial indicators (P&L, balance sheet)
  • Preparing variance analyses (vs. budget, forecast, prior year) and contributing to reporting materials
  • Participating in the monthly financial closing process and presentations to management
  • Helping prepare data inputs for budget and forecast cycles
  • Contributing to the monitoring of IT investments and cost allocations
  • Supporting the quality control and maintenance of financial master data
  • Participating in ad hoc analysis and reporting (including automation and BI-related projects)
  • Working alongside internal stakeholders (IT, Business, Group Finance) on various financial initiatives

Profile & Other Information

  • You are currently completing or about to begin a Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business
  • You have a strong interest in financial analysis, management control, and corporate finance
  • You are analytical, detail-oriented, and eager to learn in a dynamic international setting
  • You are comfortable working with Excel; experience with tools like Power BI, TM1, or D365 is a plus
  • You are fluent in French and English, both spoken and written
  • You are proactive, collaborative, and adaptable to a fast-changing environment
