Purpose

This role defines and ensures consistency of the pricing strategy and optimizes the profitability of the Division. Designs attractive offers that meet our customers’ expectations and are in line with IDEMIA’s strategy by focusing on developing pricing strategies for a product portfolio.

Key Missions

  • Researches the market to understand competitive landscape
  • Identifes target market position by geography, market segment, customer group, etc
  • Develops commercial or pricing strategy (e.g., low price or high quality) to achieve targeted market position(s)
  • Defines overall guidelines and processes on pricing and validate sales teams’ propositions according to those principles
  • Validates the costing elements along with stakeholders
  • Supports sales in developing bids strategies and works closely with marketing, sales, business management, technical or engineering teams to structure proposals and bid documents
  • Organizes the bid answer and be the central point to ensure all documents for the submission will be ready and gathered on time
  • Builds the competitive landscape of the market
  • Documents and challenges the costing for products and services
  • Maintains pricing standard offers and Creates new offers when required
  • Participates in pricing discussions with Region heads or sales
  • Proposes pricing strategies and approaches
  • Maintain and Monitors the pricing performance
  • Handles major bids
  • Works with minimum supervision
