As part of the Cloud Platform Engineering (CPE) team, which reports to the IT systems department, you will contribute to the construction and operational maintenance of the Cloud platform on which the Research and Development (R&D) and Business Units (BUs) centers of the company will lean on to meet the needs of their customers. As a member of this team, you will work on the implementation of the services offered by the CPE allowing the development teams of the BUs and the SRE to evolve, Transform, and operate their services to achieve a level of excellence in the areas of security, resilience, scalability and cost optimization.


As a Cloud Engineer you will have the following main tasks:

  • Participate in the delivery of cross-functional services enabling EPC clients to work in a controlled environment that meets the requirements of security and operational excellence.
  • Maintain existing services and make them evolve to meet new constraints.
  • Participate in platform user support
  • Supporting customers in their cloud transformation



Hard skills required:

  • Knowledge of AWS or Azure (related certifications are a plus)
  • Mastery of devops tools (git, jenkins, etc.)
  • Knowledge of development and deployment of secure infrastructure
  • Knowledge of infrastructure code tools (Terraform, Cloudformation, AzureRM, etc.)
  • Knowledge of container-based environments (docker, kubernetes)
  • Familiar with linux environments
  • Writing technical documentation in English
  • Proficiency in python and bash scripting languages
  • Be able to appropriate an existing code base

Training: BAC + 5, engineer path


  • 2 years experience on AWS/Azure (certifications are a plus)
  • 1 to 2 years devops experience
  • Infrastructure management or deployment
  • Administration of information systems

Languages: French and English


Additional information:

The position requires travels to Idemia sites, partners and suppliers in Europe and around the world. (Estimated travel time 10%).
