Financial Controller

This role understands, monitors, and improves IDEMIA's financial performance, and supports business leaders in making the best decisions that develop the activity while preserving risk.

As part of the Corporate Management Control team reporting to the Group Finance Department, you will assist the IT Group controller in charge of controlling the IT department worldwide.

 

As a Business Partner to the CIO and the IT team, you will contribute to the continuous improvement of the financial performance of an area where OPEX amounts to around €100M per year and CAPEX to around €20M.

 

Responsibilities

As "Management Controller", your main tasks will include:

Advice and support:
Supporting and advising the IT Group Controller in his/her tasks.
Data integrity
Ensuring the accuracy of data in the systems, both current and budgetary.
Calculate adjustments in the ERP systems by preparing manual entries for France.
Ensuring that financial items are correctly entered in the accounts (analytical, capitalisation of projects, external services, monitoring and receipt of orders).
Closing and controls:
Managing the monthly, quarterly and annual closures of the IT perimeter for OPEX, headcount, provisions and Capex.
Carrying out systematic checks - integrity and qualitative checks - on P&L, B/S and KPIs (against budget, last year, etc.).
Ensuring proper monitoring of capitalisation and depreciation on projects (calculation of hourly rates).
Expertise and Support
Acting as an expert on issues relating to data, analytical allocation and systems.
Financial Reporting
Monitor and provide consolidated financial data and reporting.
Provide reporting templates for actual and forecast results, based on IT Group Controller requirements.
Provide standard reporting to IT Functional Directors.
Budget process
Actively participate in the budgeting process of the global perimeter, in relation with the regions/countries, as well as updating forecasts.
 

Profile

Technical skills

Knowledge of ERP, excel and powerpoint,
Knowledge of TM1 or any other reporting tool.
 

Education

Business school or DESCF
 

Experience

2 to 5 years' experience in a management control position. Previous experience in an IT environment would be an advantage.
 

Languages

English - essential for communicating with Group subsidiaries/regions and certain business partners.
