Financial Controller

Purpose

Attached to the Finance department of the Justice and Public Safety (JPS) Business Line within the IPS IDEMIA Public Security Division, you will be part of a team of 4 people, operating in an international and dynamic environment.

Key Missions

  • Supports and challenges Pre-sales and Sales Managers in building offers: costing, pricing, financing, payment terms, foreign exchange coverage, and legal structure
  • Participates in negotiations with customers and partners
  • Contributes to building and preparing bids with the project team, modelizes bids Profit and Loss and cash-flow statements
  • Collaborates with Division Treasury to optimize financing and mitigate financial risks. Ensures associated inputs are properly captured in the business case modelization
  • Collaborates with the Legal team on the legal impact of contract terms
  • Defines and updates business case templates (Profit and Loss and cash-flow statements) for the different categories and ensures proper use of the templates by project teams worldwide.
  • Handles the Financial architect activities for small/medium complexity deals in autonomy

    • Profile & Other Information

    • Master's degree (BAC+5) from a business school or engineering school with a specialized finance program
    • Desired experience of 3 to 8 years
    • Strong Excel skills and expertise in financial modeling
    • Knowledge of international accounting standards, particularly IFRS 15
    • Sensitivity to related topics: Tax environment, INCOTERMS, Treasury, Consolidation, etc
    • Understanding of the overall environment of a tender process (especially legal and commercial aspects)
    • Familiarity with the major challenges in project implementation
    • Leadership qualities and proactive in contributing to proposal preparation
    • Responsible for ensuring the accuracy of figures reported to management
    • Strict adherence to pre-sales processes and Margin and Cash objectives
    • Strong synthesis and communication skills for interactions and presentations to senior management
    • Professional proficiency in English and prior experience in a multinational company preferred
