Purpose

As part of its growth, IDEMIA is seeking a Strategic Marketing and Market Research Specialist to enhance its understanding of the dynamics in the Travel & Transport sector. This key position reports to the Marketing Director, Travel & Transport and aims to analyze market trends, identify strategic opportunities, and ensure consistency in marketing actions.

Key Missions

 

Market Analysis and Strategic Monitoring

  • Track sector developments (technological, regulatory, geopolitical) to anticipate trends.

  • Study the positioning of key players (partners, competitors, new entrants) and conduct comparative analyses.

  • Maintain an updated knowledge base to support IDEMIA’s overall strategy.

  • Provide strategic recommendations based on reliable market insights and data.

 

 Product and Market Strategy Development

  • Identify new market segments and diversification opportunities.

  • Collaborate with product teams to adapt offerings to target market needs.

 

Coordination with Operational Marketing

  • Ensure the coherence of marketing messages with market expectations, IDEMIA’s strategic positioning, and values.

  • Work closely with operational marketing teams.

 

 External Representation and Strategic Communication

  • Participate in external working groups (sector associations, conferences, professional events).

  • Promote IDEMIA’s expertise through public interventions and communication materials (articles, white papers, studies).

Profile & Other Information

  • Master’s degree (Business School, University, or Engineering School) with a specialization in marketing, strategy, or management
  • At least 5 years of experience in strategic marketing, market research, or competitive intelligence, ideally in a technological environment or related to the travel and transport sector
  • Strong analytical and synthesis skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional and multicultural teams
  • Experience in public speaking or representing the company at working groups or conferences (a plus)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel
  • Fluency in French and English (written and spoken), a third language would be a plus
  • Strategic vision and results-oriented
  • Intellectual curiosity and ability to anticipate trends
  • Autonomy, rigor, and organizational skills
