International Tax Associate

Purpose

Within the Group Tax Department, reporting to the International Tax & TP Senior Manager, you will work as part of the team to ensure tax compliance of foreign affiliates, monitor and manage the TP compliance and look after all tax impacts for international transactions (Europe & UK, LATAM, APAC).

Key Missions

Responsibilities:

  • contribute to the maintenance and enhancement of the Group transfer pricing policy
  • implement and apply the Group transfer pricing policies and processes, with the view to mitigate tax risks globally
  • maintain up-to-date transfer pricing documentation with the support of external TP advisers
  • advise on transactions and provides tax analysis of industrial schemas and international transactions of goods and digital services around the world
  • take part in projects & training programs designed to reinforce transactional taxes compliance VAT/GST/Digital tax
  • monitor compliance with VAT/GST legislation by providing guidance and analysis of VAT treatment / VAT risk before implementation of international contractual schemes
  • provide proactive and pragmatic tax advice to any department (finance, operations, legal, business) confronted with tax matters in relation to the jurisdictions in your scope
  • work with local finance teams to understand the tax attributes of entities within the jurisdictions you are in charge & assist for tax reporting and tax compliance
  • monitor closely the change in tax legislations, communicate changes to Tax and Finance teams, and drive or follow up with implementation of associated changes
  • participate in administrative tasks necessary for the day-to-day activities of the Group tax department
     

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in tax law or Business School with Major in Tax
  • 3 to 6 years’ experience in an international law firm, Big 4 or Tax department of a multinational corporation.
  • Fluent in French and English.
  • Acquaintance for financials / accounting / Excel spreadsheets
