Purpose
As part of a newly created cross-functional delivery team, you will design, build, and operate secure, scalable, and fully automated cloud platforms supporting prototypes and MVPs.
You will work closely with architects and product teams to rapidly build prototypes and MVPs under short delivery cycles (3–6 months), applying cloud-native, secure-by-design, and “everything as code” principles .
Key Missions
KEY RESPONSIBILITES
Your daily tasks will include:
• Defining backend engineering standards and best practices for the team.
• Developing high-quality, secure backend services and microservices (API, IoT data ingestion, event streaming).
• Building REST/GraphQL endpoints, authentication flows, and scalable business logic.
• Designing event-driven architectures (Event Hubs, MQTT…).
• Ensuring code reliability, testability, and continuous deployment through CI/CD.
• Collaborating with frontend, mobile, data, and AI teams to deliver end-to-end features.
• Implementing metrics, observability, and performance optimizations.
• Leading junior back end developers (2-3).
KEY COMPETENCIES
Core Technical Skills
• Strong experience with backend development in Node.js, Python, Go, or Java.
• Knowledge of modern API frameworks (FastAPI, Spring Boot, NestJS).
• Experience with Azure services: Azure Functions, Azure API Management, Cosmos DB, AKS, Azure Storage Queues.
• Strong understanding of security patterns (OAuth2, JWT).
• Experience with event streaming and IoT protocols is a plus.
Programming
• Excellent coding skills, code review capabilities, and unit/integration test practices.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code.•
Profile & Other Information
EXPERIENCE / BACKGROUND
You are a passionate backend engineer with strong interest in cloud-native architectures, secure APIs, and modern engineering practices. You have hands-on experience building complex distributed systems on Azure.
You hold a Bac +5 or higher in Engineering or Computer Science and have solid experience in backend development.
