Paralegal Assistant

Purpose

This role assists patent engineers so that administrative tasks related to patent management are processed with the best quality and timing standards

Key Missions

  • Assists patent engineers in the administrative tasks associated with patent management
  • Ensures the follow-up of patent prosecution in France, Europe, and abroad
  • Manages administrative tasks related to patent prosecution (filing, Office action response, maintenance fees payment…)
  • Updates internal patent docketing system, follows the prosecution deadlines, and ensures all patent documents are properly archived
  • Coordinates with internal patent engineers and external suppliers as necessary for patent prosecution to be on-time and smooth
  • Organizes patent committees, documents, and follows-up on decisions
  • Supports proper invoice validations and payments
  • Conducts the full spectrum of the activities in autonomy
