Finance Director Middle East and South Asia

Purpose
The Finance Director ensures financial integrity and compliance across the IST Division’s operations in the Middle East and Asia. This role safeguards adherence to local regulations and IDEMIA Group standards, drives financial performance, optimizes treasury and tax strategies, and provides strategic insights to support business growth. By leading regional finance teams and partnering with cross-functional stakeholders, the position enables IDEMIA to deliver secure, trusted identity and transaction solutions while maintaining robust financial governance.
Key Missions
- Ensure compliance with local financial regulations, accounting standards, and IDEMIA Group statutory requirements.
- Oversee financial activities: analysis, statutory and management reporting, Accounts Payable/Receivable, inventory, cost control, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Manage treasury functions in line with Group Treasury policy: cash forecasting, pooling, repatriation, bank account management, working capital, FX control, guarantees, and Delegation of Authority maintenance.
- Implement and monitor Group Credit Management and Transfer Pricing policies.
- Lead tax compliance, reporting, and strategy across the region.
- Optimize financial flows while ensuring tax and regulatory compliance.
- Provide financial expertise to IST Division managers for budgeting, performance enhancement, and decision-making.
- Advise on regulatory impacts for new/existing business and support functions such as Legal, HR, IT, Insurance, and M&A.
- Contribute to acquisition due diligence and negotiations.
- Ensure effective internal controls and oversee internal audit action plans.
- Drive continuous improvement, best practices, and transformation projects (including ERP implementation).
- Manage and develop the regional Finance team and external resources.
- Deliver the full Finance Director mission autonomously for the IST sub-region.
Profile & Other Information
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Professional certification (CPA, ACCA, CFA, or equivalent) preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of progressive finance experience, with regional exposure.
- Strong knowledge of international accounting standards, tax regulations, and treasury management.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-border teams.
- Experience in ERP implementation and transformation projects is a plus.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
