Purpose

Join an amazing Finance and Controlling team as a Material and Inventory Financial Analyst, where you will play a key role in inventory valuation, material cost control, and reliable financial reporting across raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods. In this highly collaborative role, you will partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering, and plant leadership to connect shopfloor activity with business results.

You will support standard cost development, bill of materials analysis, inventory reconciliations, cycle counts, physical inventory activities, and month-end close. You will also help analyze material usage, purchase price variances, production inefficiencies, inventory aging, slow-moving stock, obsolescence reserves, and related inventory adjustments or write-offs.

This role offers a great opportunity to build a strong understanding of the production process and material flow. You will work closely with welcoming shopfloor teams, spend meaningful time on the production floor, and learn how operational activity is tracked, measured, and reflected financially. You will also help production teams strengthen their understanding of inventory movements, cost drivers, and financial impact.

You will review material purchase orders and requisitions to ensure proper coding, budget alignment, consistency with standard costs and BOM requirements, and accuracy of quantities, prices, cost centers, and supplier terms before approval.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a supportive, collaborative environment focused on operational excellence, financial accuracy, and continuous improvement. Success in this role comes from strong analytical skills, financial discipline, curiosity, teamwork, and a genuine interest in partnering with Production and Supply Chain.
