Software Engineer - Part-time

Purpose

The role focuses on supporting and improving the production process of smart cards by ensuring machines, processes, and systems are set up, maintained, and optimized for efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. Maintain and improve production software. 

Key Missions

•    Improve process capability and production volume while maintaining and enhancing quality standards.
•    Collaborate with local technical support to install and configure components needed for smart card creation (machine setup, card pre-personalization, card control process).
•    Support production teams with issues related to pre-personalization processes and/or machine performance.
•    Provide technical support, guidance, and training to internal production support groups for all computer applications used for pre-production.
•    Document procedures and maintain up-to-date technical manuals for troubleshooting.
•    Improve/develop production software 

Profile & Other Information

•    Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Manufacturing, or related field (or equivalent experience).
•    2–5 years of experience in manufacturing operations, process engineering, or technical support.
•    Hands-on experience with machine setup, production processes, or smart card technology (preferred).
•    Familiarity with production IT systems, ERP, or personalization software tools.
•    2-5 years Developing experience with C++ and C#
