Purpose
Key Missions
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules to keep machinery and equipment in good working condition.
- Coordinate routine, preventive, and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime and prevent equipment failures.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, or operational issues and ensure quick, effective repairs.
- Identify areas for process improvement within the production line and implement strategies to enhance productivity.
- Apply lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma, or other methodologies to reduce waste, improve quality, and increase throughput.
- Collaborate with production and operations teams to streamline workflows and improve equipment utilization.
- Oversee the upkeep of the plant’s infrastructure, including HVAC systems, electrical systems, plumbing, and other facility components.
- Ensure the plant meets all health, safety, and environmental regulations, conducting regular inspections and audits.
- Implement safety protocols, provide safety training to employees, and enforce compliance with OSHA and other safety standards.
- Managing inventory of equipment, parts, and supplies needed for plant operations.
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Supervising a team of Maintenance Technicians.
