Purpose

This role manages the Profile Design professional service activity regarding the card personalization solution projects using IDEMIA's Personalization Systems and other local systems. This role analyzes the technical requirements and estimates the workload, plans and schedules the development, develops and configures the product and tests the product.

Key Missions

  • Owns responsibilty for the customer products technical setup and configuration (new products or change requests)
  • Owns the review and feasibility analysis for new project specification, offer professional suggestions conform to industrial standard and mass production capability
  • Interfaces with different stakeholders during the Profile Design process, from customer request to validation (Product design tests, system integration tests, user acceptance tests) and customer approval
  • Owns the responsibility of the full product consistency including (but not limited to) ensuring the compatibility of all the offer services (Profile Design, Chip Personalization, Data Preparation, test card validation etc.)
  • Ensures that the product configuration is in-line with the customer requirements, the production environment criteria (Machines, production tools) and / or the scheme requirement
  • Owns the responsibility that all the internal development processes and guidelines are being followed to meet the expected quality by our customers
  • Ensures that the project and product design meets the service-level agreements and the customer expectations
  • Ensures the development is respecting the quality requirements and the compliance criteria (both schemes and IDEMIA)
  • Provides support to Engineering, Management, and Quality teams through participation in Continuous Process Improvement activities, project schedule reviews and customer requirements definitions
  • Troubleshoots any technical issues occurring during product design phase or during mass production, report and follow up, contribute to the resolution until the issue is fixed
  • Works under close supervision and in charge of low complexity projects
  • Faces problems that are typically of a routine nature, but may at times require interpretation or deviation from standard procedures
  • Communicates information that requires some explanation or interpretation
