Purpose

We are looking for a Business Analyst who is responsible for gathering, analyzing, documenting and validating the specifications/requirements of development requests. She/He is also responsible for documenting the release notes and user's guide/manual of IDEMIA’s relevant system applications and creating the respective tutorial videos.

Key Missions

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Technical

  • Coordinate with relevant sites regarding the requests/requirements for development.
  • Analyze the requests/requirements raised by the relevant site.
  • Document the requests/requirements raised by the relevant sites.
  • Coordinate with the Development team regarding the feasibility of the requests/requirements raised by the relevant sites.
  • Ensure that the development requests implemented by the development team comply with the documented specifications in accordance with the relevant sites’ requirements.
  • Document release notes to be used in every new build/release of IDEMIA’s relevant system applications.
  • Document user's guide/manual of IDEMIA’s relevant system applications.
  • Create tutorial videos of the validated development tasks.
  • Coordinate test-related work between teams at different locations, both locally and off-shore.
  • Work closely with the Development team to understand new features.
  • Represent Quality Assurance in requirements analysis and review.
  • Perform other functions, as needed.

Management/Supervisory

  • Provide the Delivery Manager with accurate and precise estimates for assigned task duration, along with confidence levels and foreseeable dependencies.

Profile & Other Information

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor's/College Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, and/or Engineering course

WORK EXPERIENCE

  • At least 3 years working experience in software testing, business analysis and technical writing required
  • 3+ years business analysis and technical writing
  • Solid understanding of metric-based business analysis, QA management and software methodology

 

OTHER SKILLS

  • A strong sense of ownership, urgency, and drive
  • A positive attitude towards work and team
  • Must be familiar with business analysis, software development processes, software QA and testing methodologies.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks well and work on multiple test projects at the same time.
  • Working knowledge of Windows. Proficiency in Microsoft Office application such as Word, Excel etc.
  • Tack-sharp analytical ability
  • Good project planning
  • Excellent teamwork, time management, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exhibit a manner of professional pessimism
