Purpose

 

 

This role plays a critical role in protecting the organization’s financial health by proactively assessing and mitigating credit risk, while driving the timely and effective collection of receivables. This role ensures strong cash flow performance through disciplined credit management, close monitoring of customer exposure, and collaboration with key stakeholders to support informed decision-making and sustainable business growth.

 

 

Key Missions

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Perform in-depth credit risk assessments (critical) using financial data, payment behavior, country risk, and external credit agency insights
  • Set and manage customer credit limits, payment terms, and account validation in collaboration with Sales and Legal
  • Monitor credit exposure and aging balances, ensuring timely identification of risks and proposing mitigation actions
  • Lead accounts receivable and collections activities, including cash collection, dispute resolution, and coordination with external agencies
  • Drive stakeholder alignment (key) by partnering with Sales, Finance, Treasury, and Legal on credit decisions and delinquent account action plans
  • Prepare cash forecasts, credit reports, and management summaries, ensuring accuracy of financial data and systems
  • Support broader AR operations, including cash application, invoicing support, and policy compliance, while handling complex credit cases

Profile & Other Information

 

Qualifications: 

  • At least 5 years of experience in Credit Management / Credit Analysis, with strong credit risk assessment expertise.
  • Proven ability to evaluate customer financials, payment behavior, and external credit ratings to drive sound credit decisions
  • Experience in end-to-end receivables and collections management, with Accounts Receivable exposure as an advantage
  • Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills across Sales, Finance, Legal, and Treasur
  • Excellent analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills, with experience in credit exposure monitoring, forecasting, and risk mitigation
