ISI HR Lead APAC

Purpose

The ISI HR Lead for APAC will work closely with ISI's business leaders and line managers to achieve organizational objectives and develop employee and team engagement in a culture that provides well-being, fairness, and development opportunities with a view to strengthening IDEMIA's human capital and business success. It will be the primary point of contact for ISI's 130 employees in the region, and will also be involved in projects to improve our HR operating model.

Key Missions

Key responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary HR point of contact for ISI’s 130 employees in the wider APAC region, including 60 in India, ensuring a understanding of the division's specific needs and priorities.
  • Coordinate with other divisions to manage and oversee HR services such as payroll and employee relations, advocating for ISI's interests. Coordinate transactional employee life cycle related activities (e.g. hires, promotions etc.) with HR Operations.
  • Represent ISI in APAC for HR projects with regional implications, ensuring that initiatives are tailored to support ISI business objectives and legal requirements.
  • Facilitate a culture of well-being, fairness, and professional growth, aligning with ISI's global ethos of respect, protection, and opportunity for individual identity.
  • Implement and manage strategic HR initiatives including workforce planning, talent development, and succession planning, adapted for the APAC workforce.
  • Support local management in fostering positive employee relations and a productive working environment.
  • Address and manage employee relations issues, providing coaching to managers and mediating disputes as needed.
  • Support organizational change by managing the people aspects and facilitating transitions.
  • Ensuring compliance and advising on HR policies and processes.
  • Act as an advocate for employees, ensuring fair treatment and promoting best employment practices.
  • Gather and integrate employee feedback into business decisions and HR programs, providing local market insights and recommendations

Profile & Other Information

 

 

Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of HR leadership within a dynamic, changing environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of relevant HR experience
  • Working knowledge of employment law and business knowledge of  English.
