Master Data Officer

Purpose

This role centrally governs the creation and the maintenance of Master Data in the main ERP systems in line with standards and internal customers' requirements.

Key Missions

  • Manages, maintains and develops the master data within a variety of business application systems to ensure information held is accurate and up to date
  • Provides advice and supports the creation and the modification of the following Master Data: Finance, Projects, Customers, Materials, Employees and Supplier
  • Ensures all service Level agreements are fully met regarding creation and modification
  • Maintains and develops master data process documentation, ensuring they are up to date and relevant
  • Maintains, reviews and monitors systems to ensure data accuracy and quality
  • Conducts testing and system validation to troubleshoot issues related to master data management and system
  • Supports project team(s) in data migration activities
  • Identifies and implements process improvements in relation to master data processes
  • Coordinates Master Data involvement in projects
  • Implements new processes for new projects or developments and proposes innovative solutions
  • Trains less experienced Master Data Officer

    As a business application support for the ERPs of the Group, you are a true referent for the Business teams mainly on Microsoft  D365 ERP’s.

    As such, your main responsibilities will be:

    • Provide support of ERP users and participate in the evolutionary and corrective maintenance of the existing business applications.
    • Building new user roles/profiles during the implementation projects
    • Assigning/revoking user accesses upon request
    • Managing incident tickets and requests and ensuring comprehensive database of queries and resolutions is kept up to date.
    • Identifying and resolving technical issues.
    • Maintaining and updating technical documents and procedures.
    • Supporting ERP implementations on Microsoft D365 by training key-users, participating in UAT tests.
