Purpose

This role is responsible for maintaining the service-level agreement critical production platforms or products and providing automated operations to ensure the service to our clients is always of the best quality.

Key Missions

  • Hardens platforms or products before and after they go live by reviewing their design, security and implementation, tuning configuration as well as developing auxiliary tools and necessary monitoring of critical health indicators.
  • Maintains platforms or products after go live by measuring and monitoring their availability, performance and overall system health.
  • Recovers platforms or products during production incidents to meet targeted service-level agreements.
  • Performs detailed root cause analysis and conduct post-mortem analysis.
  • Seeks proactively for improvements of non-functional requirements and cooperates with development and product teams to improve operational aspects of platforms or products.
  • Participates to the Change Advisory Board and validate readiness, security and maturity of new releases through development, execution and verification of automated smoke test.
  • Supports stakeholders by providing technical expertise when necessary.
  • Develops monitoring including new dashboard and alert implementation and continuous improvement.
  • Supports proactively product design review and collaborates with development teams during product development phase.
  • Communicates with internal stakeholders during planned interventions or changes and outages.

Profile & Other Information

Key Responsibilities

Manage and support global Windows-based production environments, including services such as Active Directory, IIS, DNS, and related infrastructure.
Lead and execute operating system migrations for platforms servers, ensuring minimal disruption and operational continuity.
Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for eServices applications using platforms such as Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
Collaborate with development and operations teams to establish and maintain standardized deployment processes and release management workflows.
Improve platform reliability through proactive monitoring, incident response coordination, and effective root cause analysis.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize database performance (SQL Server or equivalent) to support highly available services.
Support cloud transformation initiatives, including migration to Azure and adoption of container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Enhance observability across applications and infrastructure through monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Azure Monitor.
Contribute to Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices to ensure consistent, repeatable, and scalable environment provisioning.

Requirements

1–2 years of experience in a Site Reliability Engineering, Systems Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering role.
Strong experience administering Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, IIS, and file systems.
Hands-on experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and automation using tools such as Azure DevOps.
Foundational understanding of cloud architecture, preferably within Microsoft Azure environments.
Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and infrastructure automation.
Experience monitoring and optimizing SQL database performance.
Knowledge of SQL database deployment strategies and administration practices.
Exposure to monitoring, logging, and alerting frameworks, as well as participation in on-call operational support models.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience within payment services, card issuance platforms, or banking technology environments.
Relevant certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-400, or other DevOps/SRE-related credentials.
Familiarity with compliance and security frameworks such as PCI-DSS, PCI-CPP, or ISO 27001.
