Cryptography Expert

Finalité du poste

In our Digital Design, Integration, and Verification team, as a cryptography expert, you will lead the enhancement of the hardware security of our chip in collaboration with our software team (based in Paris and Pessac) to be deployed across all our products.

Missions principales

As part of the Digital Design, Integration, and Verification team, you will be responsible for:

- Working upstream to improve the security of our chips based on feedback from certification laboratories  
- Integrating/verifying security improvements (PKI, KECCAK, AES, TDES, countermeasures against attacks, etc.)  
- Understanding and keeping up with the evolution of attacks  
- Understanding standards and system-level constraints (performance, power consumption, security)  
- Supporting product validation, security certification, and debugging activities in collaboration with Software, Quality, Test, and Attack teams  
- Contributing to improvements in design technology and methodology  
- Within a quality process with all teams: reviewing Verification, Validation, Characterization, and Qualification results.

Profile & Other Information

-Knowledge in cryptography and post-quantum cryptography (AES, TDES, PKI, RNG…)
-Knowledge in certification (CC, FIPs, EMVCo, etc…)
-Master’s in electronic engineering or equivalent degree with specific knowledge in microelectronic devices and associated digital circuit design
-At least 8 years of experience in developing complex digital blocks or SoCs integrating a microcontroller and cryptography
-Knowledge of hardware description language (Verilog, SystemVerilog, VHDL)
-Knowledge of basic digital design tools: RTL simulation, logic synthesis, static timing analysis, equivalence checking (Synopsys and CADENCE tools)
-Knowledge of basic communication standards such as ISO7816, ISO14443
-Fluent in English.
