Key Missions

 

This role is responsible for the design, development and industrialization of electromechanical products or chips, maximizing business value and customer satisfaction.

 

  • Translates product needs into technical specifications
  • Designs product architecture corresponding to technical specifications
  • Oversees or carries out 3D and 2D drawings (for mechanical parts), schematics placement and layouts (for electronics designs
  • Improves design thanks to CAD (Computer Assisted Design) simulations and emulations
  • Oversees prototypes manufacturing
  • Carries out integration of sub-systems, qualification and validation of hardware design
  • Oversees certifications of products
  • Oversees mass production manufacturing (industrialization)
  • Writes technical guidance
  • Carries out technological watch
  • Participates to quotation for customers
  • Coordinates with stakeholders to solve design and development issues
  • Owns responsibility for the design and development of complex equipment, processes and full systems
  • Prepares engineering studies, specifications and cost estimates,
  • Acts as an internal consultant providing technical guidance on most complex projects
  • Acts as technical lead
  • Supervises the work of technicians and engineers
  • Works in total autonomy
