Purpose
Key Missions
As a Core team member, you should be familiar with best practices of infrastructure (on premises) deployment for production grade environment and good to have Devops skills to automate application deployment/management for deployed environment and production monitoring team on customer premises.
Here are some examples of what your day could look like:
• Single Point of contact for end customer or IDEMIA core team for all support related queries with in support scope.
• Working on customer ITSM tool post resolution of support query from customer.
Helping team for production deployment of new application/application patch for existing application and Lead application qualification from UAT till production deployment. Actively Part of quarterly/ yearly audit compliance.
• Guiding deployment team and monitoring team time to time for improvement and providing/arranging help for team by co-ordinating with different teams. Part of DC/DR activity at customer premises
Requirement
He/She must be familiar with the following technologies:
1. In-depth knowledge of Linux OS platforms (RHEL & CentOS) & strong troubleshooting skills
2. Linux Filesystem, file permissions & ownership
3. Knowledge of boot process & control 4. Knowledge of Run level & troubleshoot issues related to specific service
5. OS performance checks & troubleshooting performance issue
6. In-depth knowledge of LVM/VG/PV and troubleshooting skills
7. ACL management
8. Monthly support report generation and sharing with customer and HO team
9. Understanding of crontab and scheduling of jobs
10. Multipath configuration and management
11. Network File Sharing Services; DNS, NFS and CIFS
12. Network configuration/management & troubleshooting (configuring bonding, vlan tagging)
13. Patching through Satellite & Client-side yum configuration
14. Satellite server configuration & management
15. Knowledge of different hardware architecture (HP, Dell servers) and implementation
16. Management of Linux servers and hypervisors like OVM server, VMware ESXi
