Purpose
The process accounting ensures the proper booking and recognition of transactional operations, so that associated financial transactions can be performed and so that company can reflect accurate and fair financial statements.
Key Missions
Key Responsibilities:
- Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with stakeholders to obtain audit samples and provide them to auditors in a timely manner.
- Audit Query Resolution: Ensure timely completion of audit queries, providing accurate and comprehensive responses.
- Journal Accounting Knowledge: Possess a basic understanding of journal accounting principles and their application in auditing.
- Dashboard Management: Publish and maintain dashboards to track audit pending items, ensuring transparency and visibility.
- Internal Control Self-Assessment: Conduct self-assessments of internal controls, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Audit Planning and Execution: Assist in planning and executing audits, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and audit standards.
- Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Identify and assess audit risks, developing and implementing mitigation strategies to minimize their impact.
- Audit Report Review and Finalization: Review and finalize audit reports, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with reporting standards.
- Stakeholder Communication: Effectively communicate audit findings, recommendations, and results to stakeholders, including management and audit committees.
- Process Improvement: Continuously identify opportunities for process improvements, implementing changes to enhance audit efficiency and effectiveness.
- Team Leadership and Guidance: Provide guidance and oversight to audit team members, ensuring they have the necessary resources and support to perform their duties.
- Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory changes, applying this knowledge to improve audit quality and effectiveness.
