Purpose
Key Missions
As an IT Engineer specializing in Infrastructure, Network, and Security, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the IT infrastructure. This includes overseeing network architecture, security protocols, and ensuring the reliability and performance of hardware and software systems.
Responsibilities
Infrastructure Management:
Design, implement, and maintain the IT infrastructure delivered by IDEMIA, including servers, storage, and data centers.
Optimize infrastructure for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
Network Administration:
Plan, implement, and manage the organization's network architecture.
Monitor network performance, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and ensure high availability.
Security Implementation:
Work together with Security Officer to develop and implement security policies, protocols, and procedures to safeguard the organization's information assets.
Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
System Deployment and Maintenance:
Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software systems.
Ensure timely updates, patches, and upgrades to maintain system security and performance.
Incident Response:
Respond to security incidents, conduct investigations, and implement corrective actions.
Collaborate with other teams to develop and maintain an incident response plan.
Backup and Recovery:
Establish and maintain data backup and recovery processes to ensure data integrity and availability.
Test and validate backup and recovery procedures regularly.
Documentation:
Create and maintain detailed documentation for infrastructure configurations, network topologies, and security measures.
Develop and update standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Collaboration:
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, operations, and support, to ensure seamless integration of IT systems.
Compliance:
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards related to infrastructure, network, and security.
Stay informed about the latest developments in IT security and compliance.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience as an IT Engineer, with a focus on infrastructure, network, and security.
Knowledge of networking protocols, security frameworks, and infrastructure components.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CCNA, CISSP) are a plus.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with network setup and configuration
Familiarity with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
Scripting and automation skills (e.g., PowerShell, Python).
Strong understanding of firewall configurations and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
