Purpose
This role protects IDEMIA by ensuring compliance with laws and contributes to IDEMIA value creation by providing legal advice in support of business decisions and operations
Key Missions
Contracting – 50%
- Drafting, vetting and negotiating various contracts for BU CS (including Digital and Automotive) like Sale Contract, MSA & Work Order, Software License Agreement, End-User License Agreement, PO, Commercial Offer, Bank Guarantee, Service Agreements, MoU, SLA, NDA etc.
- Public procurement including review of tenders, RFPs, RFQs, preparation of pre-bid queries and deviations, etc.
- Drafting and reviewing of various legal documentation
- Advising senior management on various legal topics / issues, impact assessment and risk mitigation plan
- Legal research and study on new legal developments
Litigation – 50%
- Drafting and reviewing of legal notices and replies thereof
- Drafting and reviewing of petitions, affidavits, submissions, applications, replies, pleadings and other legal documents
- Handling appropriate litigations like arbitration matters, Writs, Labour disputes, Criminal matters, consumer disputes, pre-litigation mediation etc.
- Briefing to the external counsel and coordination/follow up for litigation matters of the Company
- Legal research and advising litigation strategies
- Co-ordination and follow-up with various internal and external stakeholders for completion of assigned projects
