Quality Engineer (Printing - Shop Floor)

Purpose

This role is responsible for ensuring that all activities within the scope meet the required quality standards, minimize quality costs and maximise customer satisfaction by ensuring that procedures and processes are adhered to.

Key Missions

We are looking for a Quality Engineer (Printing Shop Floor) based at NSEZ, Noida.

 

Roles & responsibilities:

  • Oversaw the quality control process for offset printing jobs, ensuring high-quality output in line with customer requirements.
  • Performed regular audits of printing equipment and materials, ensuring calibration and maintenance schedules were followed.
  • Implemented a new quality management system that improved defect detection rates 
  • Assisted in the development of new printing products, providing quality input during the design and testing phases.
  • Coordinated with supplier Quality Assurance team to resolve quality issues related to raw materials, inks, and substrates.
  • Prepared and analyzed quality metrics, reporting findings to management and recommending improvement strategies.

Profile & Other Information

Education: B-Tech./Bachelor of Science in Printing Technology

 

Industrial Experience (desired or essential): 4 to 6 years of experience in related mass production is an advantage.

 

Desired qualifications:

  • Familiar with offset printing machines (e.g., Heidelberg, Komori)
  • Knowledge of color management systems (e.g., ICC Profiles, Pantone Matching System)
  • Experience with measuring tools (e.g., densitometers, spectrophotometers)
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
