Senior/Lead - Cybersecurity Defense Analyst

Purpose

This role investigates and analyzes all response activities related to cyber incidents within the company's virtual and physical systems.

Key Missions

 

We are seeking an experienced Senior/Lead Security Analyst to strengthen our Enterprise Cybersecurity team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Security Operations, Vulnerability Management, Compliance, Firewall Security, Patch Management, Incident Response, and Security Governance. 

This role requires an individual capable of independently managing cybersecurity operations while leading a team of security analysts and working closely with infrastructure, cloud, application, and business teams. 

 

Key Responsibilities –

 

Security Operations 

Manage day-to-day cybersecurity operations.  
Monitor organizational security posture.  
Investigate and respond to security incidents.  
Perform security risk analysis.  
Drive continuous security improvements.  
Coordinate with IT Infrastructure, Cloud, and Application teams.  

 

Responsibilities include: 

Compliance assessments  
Internal security audits  
Evidence collection  
Risk assessments  
Remediation tracking  
Executive compliance reporting  

 

Leadership Responsibilities -

Lead a team of 4 to 5 Security Analysts  
Review investigation quality  
Allocate daily work  
Conduct technical mentoring  
Coordinate cross-functional activities  
Manage security projects  
Track deliverables  
Ensure SLA adherence  
Drive ownership and accountability  

 

Required Qualifications -

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Security, IT, or related field.  
5 to 10 years of experience in Enterprise Cybersecurity.  
Experience leading security teams.  
Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks.  
Excellent analytical and communication skills.  
Security Operations, Vulnerability Management, Network Security, Cloud Security, Infrastructure Security, Compliance.
